Last week, a video of political rivals President-elect Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama having a casual conversation at former President Jimmy Carter’s state funeral went viral online. Various lip readers and experts tried to decipher what Republican Trump and his Democratic rival were saying.

Trump, who continues to post internet memes mocking his opponents, has added a new touch to his viral videos. On Tuesday, he posted a dubbed snippet of their conversation on X’s official account. The video was altered to include “fake” narration of Trump and Obama with background music.

In the video, President Trump said, “It’s my second time. Barack, it’s good to see you,” to which President Obama responded, “Congratulations. How are you doing?”

President Trump responded, “It’s a lot better now.”

Regarding his landslide victory over Democrat Kamala Harris in the November 5 US presidential election, President Obama added, “Yes, I knew for sure that I would win.”

“Oh, I’ll do it? Well, come on, anyone can beat her,” Trump further says.

Trump also harshly criticized Hillary Clinton, who ran against her for president in 2016 but lost.

Here’s how their dubbed conversation went further:

Mr. OBAMA: I was equally appalled. do you know what happened? she just didn’t want to leave

Trump: I know.

Obama: You know what happened, I did everything I could to help her, she was terrible.

TRUMP: I know. You know what I realized? Hillary still really hates me. I know she will never forget me.

TRUMP: We should meet to discuss this.

Obama: I think so too. We are sure to have something for you, so please let us know what is best for you.

TRUMP: I was scheduled to return to Florida tomorrow.

Deciphering President Trump and President Obama’s conversation using lip reading

Donald Trump and Barack Obama sat side by side in the second row at Jimmy Carter’s state funeral in Washington on January 9th. Here’s what lip readers and experts claim about their conversation:

TRUMP: I withdrew from the matter. That’s a condition. Can you imagine that? ”

Trump: “…and after that, I will.”

Trump: “Then call Foy.”

Obama: “Hey…okay.”

President Trump: “I can’t talk about it. We’ve got to find a quiet place sometime. This is an important issue and we need to do it outside so we can deal with it today.”

However, NDTV cannot independently verify the lip reader’s claims.

President Trump did not know what the interaction between the two men was like, but later said: “I said, ‘Hey, they’re like two people who like each other. “I said, ‘Yes,'” he said. And probably will. ”

He also said that they simply “got along” and enjoyed the ceremony.
