All previous reports had suggested something thinner than the current range, but a new measurement of the phone’s thickness is now 6.25mm, according to South Korean publication Sisa Journal, spotted by MacRumors. It became clear.
iPhone 17 Air: Thinner than ever
This measurement is roughly in line with other claims that the iPhone 17 Air is 25% thinner than the iPhone 16 Pro, for example. All reports point in the same direction. That means this will be the thinnest iPhone ever made.
After all, the thinnest iPhone ever was the iPhone 6, which was 6.9mm thick and, as you may remember, stood out as a very thin phone.
