Poco X7 5G series is scheduled to launch in India on January 9th. The lineup includes the base Poco X7 5G and Poco X7 Pro 5G variants. The phone is confirmed to be available in the country through Flipkart. The company has now unveiled the designs of both its upcoming smartphones. Details of the Pro model’s chipset have also been revealed. Several leaks have hinted at the key features to expect from the Poco X7 5G series devices so far.

Poco X7 5G series design and features

The designs of Poco X7 5G and Poco X7 Pro 5G have been teased in a series of X posts by the company. These are also listed on the handsets’ respective Flipkart microsites. The basic version features a squircle rear camera module in the center. The Pro option, on the other hand, is seen with a pill-shaped island with a circular camera slot in the top left corner of the back panel. Both the phones are seen in the brand’s signature black and yellow colorway.

Another post from the company confirms that the Poco X7 Pro 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC. Previous leaks claimed that the vanilla model could come with MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset. The leak suggests that the base Poco X7 5G may also be launched in Silver and Green color options. The Pro version will also come in dual-tone black and green colors.

The design teaser reveals that the Poco X7 5G series devices will come with a 50-megapixel main camera. The Pro version will be equipped with a Sony IMX882 sensor. The vanilla option is likely to come with a 20-megapixel selfie shooter. The handset is also likely to get an IP68 rated build.

The base Poco X7 5G will reportedly feature a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED 1.5K display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The Pro model, on the other hand, comes with a 6.67-inch CrystalRez 1.5K AMOLED screen. Poco X7 and X7 Pro are powered by 5,110mAh and 6,000mAh batteries with support for 45W and 90W fast charging, respectively.
