In a post from six days ago, the athlete brothers took a Christmas photo in front of their Christmas tree. Dressed in white, the two-time ATP singles title-winner stood between his golfing sisters, with Nelly and Jessica leaning against his chest. The caption read:

“Merry Christmas from your three favorite Ho Ho Ho”

When Nelly competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, her brother was the most eager to watch her matches despite his tight tennis schedule. In the story’s narration, he said (via (Sky Sports),

“It was crazy. I was in Washington, D.C., with my girlfriend at the time, and right before the rain delay, I was like, ‘Oh no!'” It was already midnight, so next time… I was playing a doubles match that day, and after sleeping for about 30 minutes, I finally woke up just in time to watch the match start again. ”

He added:

“I always knew she had it in her, and I know how tough she is in certain situations. When she has such challenges in front of her. always knows how to win.”

Sebastian Korda and his girlfriend Ivana Nedved traveled to Australia a few days before the Brisbane International. The former was also practicing on court with Holger Ruhn and looked ready for his first match against French player Arthur Cazeau.

However, just hours before the match started, news broke that the Grand Slam quarter-finalists had withdrawn from the singles and doubles matches, leaving fans worried.

Serbia’s lucky loser Dusan Lajovic will reportedly replace Sebastian Korda in the singles. Korda will next appear in court in Adelaide from January 6 to 11, 2025.

Korda won the junior Australian Open title in 2018, 20 years after his father, Petr Korda, won the Australian Open in 1998. He had an impressive 2024 season, earning numerous accolades including his first ATP 500 title at the Washington Open.
