Investing.com — nike Inc. (NYSE:) and its Jordan Brand remain popular with consumers despite continued operational challenges, according to a new study.

The study tracks global sportswear trends and reveals that Nike continues to dominate in single brand awareness in both sportswear and footwear.

Consumers also ranked Nike as a top brand for quality products, sports performance, casual wear appeal, and fashion sense.

Purchase intentions for Nike and Jordan products over the next 12 months showed improvement year over year, with both brands outperforming their competitors. Additionally, Nike maintained the highest Net Promoter Score of any brand surveyed, increasing by 400 basis points to 47%.

“We believe the enduring strength of these brands will be the foundation upon which Nike can ultimately make a comeback,” UBS analysts wrote in a note.

The report comes as Nike faces headwinds in reshaping its product innovation cycle, which UBS estimates is still in its early stages. The company’s strategy has faced criticism for focusing on stock performance rather than consumer engagement.

UBS maintained its stock rating at “neutral” and set a price target of $73.
