Padma Bhushan award-winning Indian badminton player PV Sindhu looks flawless in a golden handmade sari by Manish Malhotra from the Evera collection, with intricate bhadra and zardozi detailing and an old-world head veil. She looked like a South Indian bride. But the stars of the show were Manish Malhotra’s traditional jewellery, including her Mata Pati, a stunning multi-layered necklace and matching earrings featuring precious Zambian emeralds and uncut diamonds. It was bridal jewelry. PV Sindhu’s kundan work, haas pool, diamond encrusted kada and her gold chain added more grandeur to complete her bridal jewelery game.
Groom Venkata Dai Sai looked regal in a brocade sherwani and dhoti, paired with a stole and chafa. However, his traditional jewelery selection from Manish Malhotra High Jewelery features an emerald and diamond-encrusted gold double-layer necklace from the Royal Heirloom Collection and ornate square emerald buttons that add sparkle to his sherwani As such, it made quite a statement.
