Trump orders a space -based missile shield

The Trump administration is seeking a bold and controversial plan and seeking a space -based missile defense shield that can change the way of war forever in order to strengthen the United States from threats in the air. Ronald Reagan’s “Star Wars” Initiative, which is reminiscent of Initiative, Trump’s presidential order instructs the Ministry of Defense to design and deploy an interceptor that can take out missiles before leaving the enemy’s territory. This command shows a historic change in US military strategy and drags the space into the forefront of national defense.

In the universe, the “iron dome” in the United States?

For decades, the US military has rely on land and sea -based missiles to neutralize threats. However, since the postponement missiles and the next -generation cruise weapons are currently being regenerated, the old system is quickly becoming outdated. Trump’s new order is trying to upgrade US defense with an unprecedented space -based component called the “American iron dome.”

Unlike Israel’s iron dome, which protects short -range rockets, the US version neutralizes all kinds of missiles, from trajectory and cruise missiles to high -speed hyper sonic weapons that move at a speed of more than 5 times the speed of sound. I am aiming for that.

What is the key to this system? High -sonic and trajectory trajectory spaces (HBTSS), which are the most advanced satellite networks designed to detect and track enemy missiles in real time. These eyes in the sky can give valuable seconds to react to the United States, which can prevent catastrophic strikes in the United States soil.

Space weapon? The United States breaks the taboo several decades ago

Perhaps the most explosive aspect of Trump’s instructions is to put weapons in track. This is a movement that breaks over many years of international norms. For decades, military strategists have avoided ideas for space -based weapons.

The Trump administration is currently moving forward as China and Russia are actively testing space weapons. The order may be explicitly instructed to deploy a space -based interceptor on the pentagon, and a weapon that kills missiles may be placed on track.

The shift was reported in the report that Russia was developing nuclear anti -consolidated weapons, and China tested a track bombing system that can be hit anywhere on the earth without warning. As these threats are imminent, the Trump administration regards militaryization spaces as the only logical advance.

Cost of the sequel to the unfinished Star Wars

But there is a big problem. Who pays it?

Reagan’s ambitious missile shield, strategic defense initiative (SDI), collapsed with its own weight in the 1990s, costing an estimated $ 1 trillion without providing a function system. Critics argue that Trump’s plan can be classified into the same black hole, and there is no clear price tag or success.

Still, the White House has not retreated. Trump’s orders require the Secretary of Defense Pete Heagces and the Budget Budget Budget plan to plan an expenditure plan before the start of the next fiscal year in October. But the parliament will have the right to make a final decision. In other words, this ambitious program can die before it gets off the ground.

New space arm race?

With this escalation, the world is wondering. Are we in a new era of space battle? When Trump’s vision becomes a reality, the track of the earth can quickly scatter missile interceptors, military satellites, and weapons trapped in the stratular competition. The meaning is amazing. Is this safe for the United States or a huge target on your back?

One thing is that Trump’s command has just changed the game. Whether it’s a breakthrough of defense or catastrophic misunderstanding, the space is no longer a frontier for exploration. It is the production battlefield.
