Started clinical trials of AI design drugs by the end of the year: report
According to the founder Demis Hasabis, Google’s parent’s parent company’s Alphabet’s umbrella, Isomolfick Love’s, plans to start clinical trials for the first AI design drug by the end of 2025. Hasabis, a lecture at the World Economic Forum, said, as reported by the Financial Times, it has been targeting major diseases, such as tumor, cardiology, and neurodetics.

The company, which spinned out of Google Deepmind in 2021, aims to use artificial intelligence to reduce the timeline of pharmaceutical development, which had previously been 5 to 10 years, to 10 times. According to the report, ISOMORPHIC LABS cooperates in the pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Novartis and six pharmaceutical development programs.

Project Astra: AI Assistant

Hasabis, the highest executive officer of Google Deepmind, has stated that the company’s Prototype AI Assistant, known as Project Astra, will be provided to consumers this year. According to the report, he has a “billions of billions” within three years, stating the future in the near future “negotiating with vendors and customers.” He said that this development would need to be reconsidered by the web itself.

However, in the development of general -purpose artificial intelligence (AGI), Hasabis warned of further attention and cooperation among major AI developers, and warning the possibility of abuse by malicious people.

Threat to human civilization

He has warned that the technology may threaten human civilization if the technology is unable to control or “for harmful purposes by bad guys … for harmful purposes”.

According to Hasabis, Google Deepmind’s final goal is to create general -purpose artificial intelligence, a system that can demonstrate all human cognitive abilities. Despite the fact that it is close to the social media, it has been added that it is true. It took 5 to 10 years to realize AGI.
