Brig Gin. Ali Fadabi, deputy commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Security Force Commander (IRGC), said on Monday that “true promise 3 will be made at the right time.”
Fadavi mentioned two previous operations carried out against Israel as True Promise 1 and True Promise 2 in April and October 2024.
Both attacks caused minimal damage to Israel, killing two Israelis and one Palestinian.
Israel responded to both attacks, first attacking several parts of Iran in April. This included areas used for nuclear enrichment and military bases in Syria.
In its second attack in October, Israel attacked a series of Iranian missile bases and radar sites aimed at crippling Iran’s air defenses.
Iran claims it has intercepted Israel’s attacks. However, this remains unfounded.

Iran said it would respond to the strike, which never happened, but led Iran to continue to threaten True Promise 3.
