Looking at our planets from space gives us a different view of life on Earth.
Seeing Earth from space was primarily a reserve for hundreds of astronauts. Since Yuri Gagarin’s first historic human space flight on April 12, 1961, around 700 humans have seen Earth from space. From above, it varies from person to person, but the overall effect is unchanged. In other words, it has become deeply and deeply transformed into our perceptions of our world and our lives on Earth.
Author and cosmic philosopher Frank White has created the term “summary effect” to explain this cognitive change that astronauts experience when they see Earth from space.
White wrote: “My book, The Overview Effect: Space Exploration and Human Evolution, was published in 1987. Earth. That way, we all will always experience the overview effect.
“I’ve always said, ‘Yes, someone should do that and I need to support them, but I probably won’t be me.'” Of course, photos and videos are just the same It’s not the same as itself. But we need to urgently use all available means to show people that the Earth is an entire system where everything is interconnected and interconnected. So I sincerely support Sen and look forward to the future. When no one told me, “I wonder if it would be cool if someone puts the camera on track…”
The overview effect is a very important change in perception experienced by people looking back at Earth from space. Imagine the impact that everyone, not just astronauts, could see Earth from space. This is one of the reasons why I founded SEN, and we have real-time experience for everyone, so that billions of people can see the Earth in the same way as astronauts and experience the overview effects. It provides an ultra-high resolution view of the Earth.
Seeing Earth from space in real-time video cannot be the same experience as seeing it with your own eyes like an astronaut, but the video experience is still important and persuasive. That’s just not.
With an analogy, when you see your favorite sports team perform live on TV, you will understand the same story and stir the emotions as if you were first seen. When you watch the game with your own eyes at the stadium, you will see things you may not be able to see on TV when you experience additional sensations and emotions. But likewise, watching a game on TV offers a variety of additional perspectives, such as showing close-ups of the action. Multiple TV cameras at different locations and at different times can tell stories that you may not see with your own eyes.
Overall, whether direct or TV, the story is the same and the excitement is conveyed. It’s just another experience. It’s the same as music. Listening to your favorite band drive is a great experience, but listening to their recordings at all other times. Whether live or recorded, the lyrics are the same, the songs are the same, and there is an emotional connection through listening.
Looking at Earth from space, knowing it’s real-time, what you’re down to the surface can allow billions of people to experience an overview effect, or an overview effect . Return to Earth from space with your own eyes.
Looking at the beauty of the planet, its vulnerability and sensitivity to natural disasters, may change the way people feel about the environment. Those who already realize the need to tackle climate change may experience a new sense of urgency that would not have been the case otherwise. Those who do not view climate change as an important issue may see it as a reality. It has a major daily impact on communities around the world. And everyone will see that there are no boundaries, natural disasters are indiscriminate and have a negative impact on people all over the world. The truth is clear to everyone. Taking action against climate change is a global issue and a global responsibility.
Chris Hadfield, who spent several months in space on three space missions, including the commander of the International Space Station, explained the outline effect as follows:
“It is very important that we take care of each other and every day and recognize the incredible luck and uniqueness of the fact that we live in this little Eden in this place. We humans are The most intelligent life out there The geological records that exist here have to think about the level of responsibility that comes with it and how we can become a good steward just in this house, as we know it. ”
Looking at the Earth from space shows the context of the big picture, the reality of our existence, all on planets that share the same space. It is one world and has the potential to be billions of years of life. The planet of people is not “ours” like ownership, but “we” of “ours” who care for all people in all future generations. A unique spatial perspective has the power to unite humanity, and we believe that the story of Earth and our future in the universe are stories about all of us.
We all need to be well-informed and play a role in caring for the planet. We are temporary parents of future generations and parents of future generations. Retired NASA astronaut Nicole Stott says that “we are not passengers, not crew” on the planet of the spacecraft. That’s the reality. Space is not something “out there.” We are in it and now we are moving space to the most beautiful planets filled with life and so many species and environments.
Looking at the Earth from above can encourage global change when individual perceptions and available data are transformed into behavior. This is what we believe is important to have a continuous live stream of Earth’s video from space, telling stories of planetary change, raising awareness of the climate crisis and hopefully leading to action from people. I believe that I can do it. Changes in political will and laws, corporate habits and activities are driven by the will of the people.
Another important reason to watch Earth video from space is simply this. That’s true. Sen is streaming the truth. In a world where AI-generated images and videos are becoming increasingly intelligent and accurate, the distinction between reality and fake is blurred. Watching the real-time view of Earth from space change every day from daytime is a form of truth: a constant dose of reality about life on Earth. The calming effects of reality checks, wake-up calls and the era of unstable geopolitics.
Sen’s vision is to use video to democratize the space to inform, educate, inspire and benefit all humanity. We want to use the power of video storytelling to empower everyone by being able to witness planetary changes and humanity’s quest for the universe.
Sen already has satellites in orbit, and more have been constructed to form constellations. They also plan to put the video camera in deep space to get an additional perspective on Earth, the Moon and one day Mars. SEN’s “Spacetv-1” mission at the International Space Station was designed and built by Sen, and live streams the Earth in 4K, overlooking the high-quality scenery and ground of the Earth’s horizon. The system also looks straight down at a real-time overlay of camera view mapping information. This use of augmented reality is designed to help people instantly know which areas of the planet they are looking at.
I would recommend that everyone see the Earth from space. You can watch it live now at sen.com and youtube.com/sen or download the app for your iOS device. It’s free for everyone, so watch live Earth and experience new ways to see the world of our hometown. It’s a story about all of us, unfolding in real time in front of us.
