Candygal:
BJP registered the victory in the mayor of Candyal and won 19 votes for AAP-CONGRESS ALLIANCE 17 votes. In the election, HARPREET KAUR BABLA, a candidate for BJP, has won the AAP Prem Lata.
The CHANDIGARH Mayoral opinion poll was a high stakes contest between BJP and AAP-Congress Alliance. The post was voted at 11:20 am at the Candygal Municipal Gathering Hall and ended at 12:19 pm.
CHANDIGARH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION consists of 35 members, including the selected councilors and the CHANDIGARH MP, who have the right to vote as a former employment right member.
Before the election, the distribution of seats was as follows. AAP with 13 councilors, six parliaments, and BJP voted 16 and one vote in Congygal (parliament).
A few days before the election, parliamentarians Gabax Rawatto switched loyalty to BJP and increased the party’s strength to 16.
The election was held with a secret voting. The nominated Ramik Shin Bededy was designated as the chair, and the retired Punjab and the high court judge in Hariyana were appointed an independent observer by the Supreme Court to supervise the voting. 。
