Apple can enable users to migrate digital purchases between accounts. The iPhone maker has posted support documentation explaining that users can move between Apple Music, movies, or others on various Macs, Mobileme, iTunes, and Itools apps, Macrumors reports.
Any purchases made through a secondary account can be migrated to the main account used to create purchases and iCloud.
Users will find the option in the Media & Buy section of their iPhone or iPad account in the Settings app. During the migration, users will need to turn on both their primary email address, phone number, passwords for both their accounts, and two-factor authentication. Both accounts must be logged in via your iPad or iPhone.
However, there are a few exceptions to the rules. Users cannot transfer purchases from their child’s accounts within family shares. You can also transfer your purchases to your account only once a year.
Users can also cancel the migration later if necessary.
Additionally, this option is not yet available in the EU, the UK or India.
